Hope Rodriguez
Senior- Adoptive Coordinator
Since joining MyDream Adoption in 2015, Hope Rodriguez has been a guiding light for families embarking on their adoption journeys. With over a decade of professional experience in social work and family support, Hope brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and firsthand understanding to every case she handles. Her work is defined by her belief that every child deserves a loving home — and that every family’s story is worth celebrating.
Hope is happily married and the proud mother of 3 biological children and an adopted child, an experience that deeply shaped her professional approach and personal passion for adoption advocacy. Her own journey as an adoptive parent allows her to connect with families on a profound level, offering empathy, encouragement, and insight grounded in lived experience.
Education & Professional Experience
Hope earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Central Florida University, where she focused on child welfare, family counseling, and community development. She went on to complete advanced training in Adoption and Family Systems, Birth Parent Support, and Trauma-Informed Care.
Throughout her years at MyDream Adoption, Hope has coordinated hundreds of successful placements and continues to guide adoptive families with exceptional professionalism, integrity, and heart. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, emotional preparedness, and ethical practices, ensuring that both birth and adoptive parents feel respected and supported throughout their journey.
Her Role at MyDream Adoption
As a Senior Adoptive Coordinator, Hope’s role is centered on building strong, trusting relationships with families. She assists adoptive parents through every step of the process — from application to placement — helping them understand the legal, emotional, and practical aspects of adoption.
Hope also collaborates closely with birth parents, providing compassionate guidance and ensuring that their voices are heard and their choices honored. Her calm and understanding nature makes her a dependable source of comfort, especially during the more sensitive moments of the process.
Her colleagues often describe her as thoughtful, patient, and inspiring, with an extraordinary ability to bring warmth and clarity to complex situations.
Beyond the Office
Outside of her professional life, Hope is a devoted wife, mother, and animal lover. She shares her home with her playful golden retriever, Lucy, who is affectionately considered part of the family. In her spare time, Hope enjoys crafting, painting, baking, gardening, and weekend hikes with her family and Lucy. She also loves creating family memory scrapbooks, a passion inspired by her belief that every story deserves to be preserved and cherished.
Hope’s favorite moments are the simple ones — evenings spent with her husband and children , long walks with Lucy, or hosting small gatherings with friends and fellow adoptive families. Her lifestyle reflects the same values she upholds in her work: love, connection, and gratitude.
